These courses are offered to German nursing teachers who want to provide their students with basic English lessons during their basic training (pre-registration) and who want to use English-language articles in their lessons.

In these course teacher-participants will learn how to work with materials that Yvonne Ford has developed (her book "Nursing English essentials" as well as lessons published in Heilberufe). Course participants will also learn how to use original English language articles for the classroom.

There will be a special focus on basic techniques of language teaching with emphasis on correct pronunciation and intonation.

Each participant will have the opportunity to improve his or her own English and to design a simple course curriculum for working with students at different levels of ability.
